WebApplet is used to surf the Intenet with simple ways and stylish.. With this, you can browse Facebook, Twitter, Brightkite, Digg, FriendFeed, Meebo, Pandora, Ping.FM and RTM like you own an iPhone(via Mobile Web).
Firstly, launch the terminal. Then paste these commands:
First REMOVE Avant Window Navigator(AWN) if you have them already (but just to be safe, run the commands anyway)
$ sudo apt-get remove avant-window-navigator avant-window-navigator-data awn-settings awn-applets-c-core libawn1 vala-awn && sudo apt-get autoremove
ADD THE PPA
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:awn-testing/ppa && sudo apt-get update
INSTALL Avant Window Navigator (AWN)
$ sudo apt-get install avant-window-navigator-trunk avant-window-navigator-data-trunk python-awn-trunk awn-settings-trunk awn-applets-python-core-trunk python-awn-extras-trunk awn-applets-python-extras-trunk awn-applets-c-core-trunk awn-applets-c-extras-trunk
Once you've done the INSTALLS,
1. Go to APPLICATIONS >> ACCESSORIES >> AVANT WINDOW NAVIGATOR (AWN).
It will be something like this:
2. Right click on AWN and choose Dock Preferences
3. Select Applets >> Web Applet(double klik)
4. A successful Web Applet will be something like this
